She & Him

My fashion inspiration right now includes the preppy and androgynous Pre-Fall 2010 Collections from Chloé and Proenza Schouler respectively. And, as always Margaret Howell. I never tire of the 'basics' i.e. impeccably cut, skinny legged trousers worn with a mannish brogue, coupled with pulled back hair and barely there make-up. Key pieces on my wish-list include skinny tweed trousers, a camel coat, breton tops and another pair of lace up oxfords to add to my countless collection. What's on your Spring wish-list?

Hibernation nostalgia

Toast's autumn winter 09 catalogue is simply the most perfect look book and is giving me so much inspiration for those last few weeks of winter when the shops are stockpiling their new spring/summer collections; it makes me shiver to just think of them! I got their brogue pumps for Christmas, aren't they darling?

It's world filled with escape, enchantment, sweet trinkets and crisp autumn leaves. The location of the short film reminds me of the summer I spent with my boyfriend at his family's home in the very North of Scotland, something I daydream of constantly whilst in the city. Walking on the moors looking over to the mystical Rabbit Island felt like a different world entirely.
Bisous.

I'll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours

Welcome to my online scrapbook. I am a student at Glasgow university studying French and History of Art. This is where I talk about my favourite things...

This weekend was my first of the new year and the new term back at university so I filled it with lovely things, namely wandering about the West End in the winter sunshine, and having a lazy afternoon hot chocolate and crumble cake with my boyfriend in one of my favourite cafés. Sundays are my favourite day of the week. What would you do on your perfect Sunday?

On my perfect Sunday...

I would wake up in Paris

and wear my hair in milk braids.

I would hop on my bicycle and would eat breakfast out at a lovely café...

whilst reading a beautiful magazine such as
Lula

Then I would buy a bunch of flowers, some peonies perhaps.

and I would run through the Louvre à la Anna Karina in
Bande à part,

come back home, snuggle up and do some knitting...
