“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”

Caroline Issa, market editor of Tank and editor in chief of Because magazine is my new style crush. Edgy without sacrificing elegance and grace, she is a perfect style icon for our time. Her outfits are an endless lesson in paired down chic. Who's style have you been stalking this fashion month?

  1. and she's oh so beautiful too! that helps haha. i love how her style is really classy and elegant, but i think her youth and her beauty makes it seem a bit more edgy and fun. I have been lovign stevie dance's style the most this season, I only wish there were more photos of her!

  2. gorgeous! thanks for the inspiration :)

love especially the 3rd and last pic - she does a red lip so well. i've been rediscovering Michelle Williams as a lovely style icon lately. she along with Kirsten Dunst and Sofia Coppola are such timeless and contemporary style inspirations for me.

  9. Yes. I have been obsessed with her style and her unusual beauty. Muses like her have made me reconsider my approach to style and my shopping habits.

I am actually focusing my blog-posts soon the basics. I sentenced myself to the I6L challenge for the very reason that my basics were out of control and that my closet was becoming a graveyard.

The challenge really changed my way of thinking when shopping. So far I've bought an Anna Molinary silk blazer, revived my Giorgio Armani black suit, and acquired the Ferragamo Varas in black patent.

The 29th outfit for the I6L styling challenge is up. What do you think of it so far?

    XOXO

  12. Caroline is as intelligent and friendly as she is beautiful and I can atest to that because she gave me a great interview for a feature I was writing while I was studying Fashion Journalism. She couldn't have been sweeter or more generous with her time!
