After careful consideration I think my next purchase will be a blue Oxford Shirt. Plain, simple and the epitome of tomboy chic, it will go with everything in my wardrobe and can be dressed up or down. I'll wear mine tucked into black cigarette pants, or my Acne flares for a comfortable yet pulled together look. How do you wear yours?

I love the Oxford shirt/ black cigarette or slouchy skinny jeans look, but it doesn't work out for me, just doesn't look like I want it too. I recently got one, really lovely, from j crew, but returned it. Maybe I just haven't found the perfect one yet.
ReplyDeletereally like the last picture :) I wear mine mostley with jeans cut offs, To make the blouse a little less tidy.
ReplyDeleteAmazig pictures!
ReplyDeleteI wear mine with a black wool or leather skirt. Or just with blue jeans, or black jeans. Or black shorts. Or... ;)
ReplyDeleteI love these photos. I don't have an oxford shirt that I really like, but if I did, I would wear them tucked into high waist, wide leg jeans with a cream v neck cardigan worn open. Btw, who is the model, do you know? She is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI already have one pink and blue. I'm still trying to find the perfect white oxford.
ReplyDeleteI am still searching for a good oxford shirt... I'm quite fat and have big boobs on top of that so correct fitting is essential in order that I don't look like I'm wearing a tent... I'm eyeing one from Bravissimo to go with jeans and work skirts though :)
ReplyDeleteI love oxford shirts. i wear mine with black skinny pants or blue skinny jeans. sometimes, i'll also wear it unbuttoned over a tucked-in striped shirt for a "sloppier" look. i always roll the sleeves up because for some reason, unrolled sleeves just look plain bad on me!
ReplyDeletei am a huge fan of steven alan and equipment shirts with my skinny jeans and isabel marant boots. like jennifer, i also end up always wearing them with the sleeves rolled up - i don't like long sleeves getting in the way, and it looks more relaxed that way, less like a service uniform!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love these! I found my perfect one from maison scotch (la femme selon marie) on boxing day this year, before that I've always relied on the men's section at thrift shops - the really huge ones look great belted over dresses/slips, my perfecto shirt over a breton stripe dress works too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos. I guess I would wear mine with a pencil skirt and a leather harness. Kind of an edgy, but conservative look for bar nights. Also, just untucked under a sweater with a peacoat!
ReplyDeletei'm with garderoben, i love it but it just doesn't work for me... yet. i will persevere ;P i do however love my equipment silk shirt and will invest in another one soon. the question is: blue or white? :)
ReplyDeleteoh! of course!!! ;))
ReplyDeletenice photos! with high waisted black shorts!
ReplyDeleteAlannarama- I struggle with finding a shirt that fits well due to boobs. I hear you!
ReplyDeleteAPC have the perfect blue shirt at the moment, I love it. I'd wear it with corduroys and loafers, I think.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love blue shirts! At the moment I only have one, cheap and bad quality shirt, but I like to combine it with a black wool sweater.
ReplyDeleteCountless ways ... since I'm on a budget, I actually buy mine in the boys department. A youth 12 does the trick. I like the cut and the fit. Tucked into black cigarette pants, worn out w. leggings and sandals ... so versatile.
ReplyDeleteooh.. really nice shirt!
ReplyDeleteI'm having a giveaway on my blog. check it out :)
