If black polo necks make you think of the milk tray man, think again. My most recent acquisition from COS has become a much loved staple in recent weeks. Made out of merino wool, it's the perfect weight for that tricky stage between seasons. I like to wear mine tucked into a leather A-line skirt with black opaque tights in a nod to the sixties, but I love the way it's paired in the images above with a classic pair of cigarette pants. Hey, if it's good enough for Phoebe Philo, it's good enough for me...

I don't look good wearing black up against my face and my neck is too short for this style, but I still love the idea of it!
ReplyDeleteI've always been too large of chest and chubby of cheek to pull off a poloneck, but I do like them. Your outfit with the leather skirt sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeletei absolutely dig! (you had me at Phoebe Philo)! ;)
