The Scent: Le Labo Santal 33

I like to think that I've succeeded in the personal quest for the perfect scent. I'm a Chloé girl through and through. Granted, sometimes I dabble with Serge Lutens Fleur d'Oranger for evenings out or if I want to feel that little bit more polished but in general I can cross finding a scent off the bucket list! That said, sometimes a brand comes along that makes my heart skip a beat: Le Labo is one of those and is great for when I want to mix things up a bit. With their elegant formulations and chic packaging Le Labo have earned themselves a cult celebrity following including the likes of Alexa Chung and Kirsten Dunst. The number in the title of each scent refers to the amounts of raw ingredients within the fragrance. My current favourite is Santal 33, a  woody and aromatic unisex fragrance, featuring sandalwood, virginia cedar, cardamom, violet, papyrus, spices, leather, musk and amber.

  1. That sounds nice. I'm currently in love with a Korres men's fragrance - Vetiver Root, Sandalwood and Green Tea. I've been wearing it for months and only realised it wasn't unisex when I went to buy my brother a bottle from Amazon. He thinks it smells like Paco Rabanne but it's so much cleaner and smokier.

  2. I'm a Chloe girl too:)

The Laundress and Le Labo have partner together on a clothing detergent- I'm so curious about it.
